Matthew James & Co. worked with the homeowners to renovate this 1960’s home in the woods of St. Charles, Illinois. The renovation boasts character while keeping clean lines. The open kitchen includes an oversized rough sawn hickory island, stained black, with a beverage center and open shelving while the perimeter cabinets have plenty of amenities like a pull out spice rack and utensil dividers. The living room built-in shelves showcase the exposed brick of the home.
